The Creative Alliance Launches Kids Need Art Grant Program

Grants Benefit Boulder Valley School District Art Instruction

LAFAYETTE, Colo.—The Creative Alliance, a strategic marketing, public relations and design firm based in Lafayette, has launched Kids Need Art, a mini- grant program benefiting elementary and middle school art instruction in Boulder Valley School District.

Kids Need Art will award five grants of $50, two grants of $75 and one grant of $100 per semester to art teachers submitting winning applications. The grant monies are to be used to support special projects and materials for the teachers’ elementary and middle school art classes.

“We believe that creativity and artistic learning are critical to a well-rounded education for our children,” said David Heitman, president of The Creative Alliance. “Knowing that art teachers often have to spend their own money on supplies, we’re happy to do something to support art education on a local level.”

Applications for the fall semester are being accepted through September 15. Winners will be announced on October 1.
